If you want to get your groove on, get active, and have fun all in one, join us for this Dance Fitness with Mélika! In the second installment of our Active Living series, all skill levels are welcome, so come and dance with the community!

Join Halifax’s Elderberries for this elder hangout! This is a chance for Nova Scotia’s 50+ 2SLGBTQIA+ community to connect with one another, and share their experiences.

Join us for a jazz dance class in a safe space that celebrates all bodies, abilities and identities. Beginners and experienced dancers are welcome. Dress in a way that allows you to move freely. Instructor Chris van Green.

Rebels in Rhinestones is a mini lecture series exploring the rich, rebellious history of drag, burlesque, and queer performance. Four local performers will each present a 20-minute talk on topics such as the origins of burlesque, the legacy of drag kings, and the contributions of BIPOC performers. Through storytelling and history, this series highlights how these art forms have long been sites of resistance, celebration, and self-expression. Whether you're a performer or an audience member, Rebels in Rhinestones offers a deeper understanding of the political, social, and cultural forces that have shaped queer performance. Join us as we connect the past to the present, fostering empathy, knowledge, and appreciation for the performers who paved the way. ASL Interpreters will be present. Livestream option present as well. This event is PWYC/ Sliding Scale.

This party has a long title and is gonna be a great night! This party has a long title and it's gonna be a great night! This evening is aimed at first time visitors to Night Spa and those who may be trying to make new friends or connections. You must be a Night Spa member or the guest of a member in order to attend. Folks may choose to do some heavier play but this evening will be filled with fun, get to know you, games, name tags and community focused fun! We've had a couple of these nights before and the ice breaker games really do work. All the games are optional, you can sit and observe if you wish or break off at any time and do your own thing. Night Spa is Halifax’s mixed gender, private members only venue so we may do anything we wish except smoke inside. There is a small side door for those who wish to smoke or vape. This is a clothing optional event, so nudity is acceptable but not required. This is a queer adult space for adults to do adult things. Members should only bring guests who can behave as an adult in this type of environment. Upon arrival all first-time visitors are given a tour which not only goes over where things are and how the equipment works but also goes over the rules and etiquette of the space. This is the same tour that we offer during our open-house event but if you would like a refresher tour, we are happy to provide one. There is truly something comforting and freeing about entering a space full of openness, acceptance and surrounding yourself with like-minded individuals. While everyone may be attending Night Spa for different reasons, being in a space where consent is so openly practiced, requested and respected will put you strongly at ease and confident with your interactions with others. If you've never been to the spa before there is a hot tub, sauna, showers and plenty of public/shared side rooms for socializing in as well as 15 private rooms that can be pre-booked. You may bring your own food and drinks but we must take care of the space and remove our empty cans and bottles when we are finished. For legal purposes, you must be a Night Spa member or a guest to attend this event. We do not accept same day applications so apply early. There is no fee to apply or to become a Night Spa member. You pay an entrance fee by either renting a locker or upgrading your locker to a private room each time you attend. Please take a moment to fill out an application. Join us for a conversation with peers on how eating disorders experiences intersect with our lived experiences as members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. We will have an open discussion about identity, stigma, challenges, triumphs, and recovery maintenance. Whether you're navigating your own recovery journey or seeking to understand more about diverse perspectives, this in-person event provides a safe and supportive space to learn, share, and connect. This event is part of our Recovery Conversation series and invites individuals aged 17+ to share in a discussion about paths to eating disorders recovery. Light snacks will be provided. The Candlelight Vigil at Peace & Friendship Park is a chance for the community to mourn, commemorate, and honour the friends, family and community members lost this year. 

Sponsored by Downtown Halifax. This event will be one of a kind, featuring live vocals, stories and iconic drag performances by some of Halifax's favourites. All seating is General Admission and will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets are non-refundable, and Stardust cannot guarantee your party sits together, so if you have a larger party, please arrive early. All tickets not redeemed by 8:45 pm will be resold to those waiting.
