What better way to celebrate pride then to turn childhood betrayal into something that can sustain you? Bring over your old books written by problematic authors (or ones you just don't want anymore) to Diverse Roots Therapy in Dartmouth and learn how to grow oyster mushrooms using them! Hosted by Freddie Mae Allen (he/they) and Lucius Harmony (they/them).

This Halifax Rainbow Dodgeball led event will allow newcomers and pros to have some low stakes fun on the dodgeball court! This inclusive learn-to-play session at the YMCA will allow attendees to get to know the game and the community in a supportive and inclusive environment. You’ll have a ball!
Come celebrate Pride with ACR with a special scrimmage on July 22nd at 7pm! What is a scrimmage? It's a fun, low-stakes game of roller derby where the league (and close friends!) split into two teams to play each other. It's a great learning opportunity for all of our players and officials, but with all the hard-hitting action of a full-length roller derby bout. In celebration of the Halifax Pride festival, we'll be donning our rainbows and showing off our queer joy (while consensually hitting each other!) Tickets are pay-what-you-wish at the door, cash or credit. Doors open at 7:00pm
