Join co-editors and researchers Dr. Phillip Joy (Applied Human Nutrition, Mount Saint Vincent University) and Dr. Megan Aston (School of Nursing, Dalhousie University) for an engaging, heartfelt evening exploring Queer Compassion in 15 Comics — a new illustrated book that brings together queer stories of compassion. Part book launch, part community gathering, this event invites you into a vibrant conversation about what queer compassion looks like in everyday life. Through fifteen comic vignettes created by 2SLGBTQ+ artists and storytellers, the book explores the small acts of kindness, quiet moments of resistance, and deep connections that help us thrive. Come meet the editors, view selected comic panels, and take part in a conversation about queer health, healing, and hope.
